Nekole and Homestead Improvements transformed a 70's era bathroom into a completely new and much improved room. When my husband and I decided to redo the rest of our house, we knew just who to call. Nekole and her crew have redone our family room, and it is so much brighter and clean looking. They painted the walls and ceilings, ripped up the old carpet and put down new floors. I have a great new shelf in my laundry closet, new doors and frames, new baseboards. Nekole is great to work with and bounce ideas off of. Her estimate was almost spot on, just a bit higher because she did some extra work. When we get to our next room, Homestead Improvements will be doing the work. Nekole G of Homestead Improvements recently completed two major tasks in our Master Bathroom. She replaced an antiquated tub and surrounding shelf with an Ella’s Bubbles ‘Big4One” Walk-in Tub, the surrounding shelf and adjacent tile floor. Her workmanship was outstanding and the end result is close to perfection. In the second task she replaced old square tile with hexagon tile and repainted the toilet room. Our Master Bathroom has been transformed from an eyesore to a modern masterpiece. Nekole is very knowledgeable and professional. She is also a pleasant to work with. I strongly recommend her for virtually any remodeling task. I also note that she did an excellent job of cutting our cat’s toenails. ~ John L

I'm very happy that I found Homestead Improvements to do the renovation of my guest suite / vacation rental property. Nekole managed the entire renovation to include 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and kitchen/living area. It had been completely demolished and was just a shell when she started. She did an amazing job, was quick and efficient, and very meticulous with the work they did. She coordinated everything very well so the work was done in a timely and professional manner, and she was great to work with along the way. We contacted Nekole as a reference from one of our friends. It’s difficult to find a trusted contractor so when Homestead came highly recommended, we reached out to have one of the bathrooms upgraded. Within a few weeks we had an estimate and the work began shortly after. Nekole did a fantastic job, so much that we contracted with her to upgrade the master bath too. She is very meticulous in her work, very professional, clean and leaves her work area nice and neat before leaving for the day. We definitely recommend Homestead for your home improvement needs. I was in need of a new bath/shower due to water damage, and needed the work done fairly quickly, as I was preparing to sell my home. Nekole responded very quickly and came out to give me an estimate. I felt she was very fair, and did not try to push me on something that I did not want, while also helping me understand all that would be needed to get the job done. When it came time to get the job done, she worked very efficiently. I am beyond pleased with my new shower, it is almost unfortunate that I won't get to use it for very long. Nekole has done a demolition of my kitchen. I found her after my kitchen has already been planned half way through. I needed someone that could pull the permit since I removed a wall. Even though I contacted her late in the project, she was very kind to provide me quote of whatever I need. She was professional and patient throughout the entire project. She explains things whenever I have questions. In term of her work, she was methodical and neat. She removed the cabinets and wall with minimal mess. She cleaned up after herself. She was on time, and communicates well. She is very responsive. My project depends on her works to be completed on time before my electrician can perform his work. She completed her job as promised. Ms. Nekole is the definition of a professional and is by far the easiest and nicest person to work with. I had two total bathroom remodels and a partial kitchen remodel (countertops and backsplash) done. Not only was she always prompt with responding to any questions I had, but she also helped in making excellent color combination decisions that turned out excellently. If any hiccups in the project arose, she made sure to ask me for a decision before doing the work. In addition to the bathrooms and kitchen, she was able to get some electrical work done to code, my floors/baseboards redone throughout the entire house and fixed every ding, scratch, or damage to drywall throughout the entire house. Overall, she and her team completed everything I asked for and did so in an extremely timely manner. Nekole has completed several projects for me: Installed toilets upstairs and downstairs; cleaned gutters and reinstalled one downspout, added extensions to both rear downspouts; painted living room and stair rails; installed new kitchen base cabinet, laminate top and side splash; replaced several old fixtures with led fixtures that don't require changing bulbs. Nekole is very helpful in making decisions on products that you are considering. She takes the time to go over all the details of what is involved with your project. She makes all the appointments with sub contractors if they are required for the job. She recently finished laying a new floor in my laundry/pantry rooms. She stained all the new baseboards for both rooms. I also had her remove and replace all of the windowsills in my house. They look amazing. I have done business with Homestead Improvements For over 10 years. Nekole is very reliable she also has the knowledge of everything she does for people. Nekole has done inside work for me and outside work she put up our fence. When we had all the hail damage twice we used Nekole for our contractor she handle everything and made sure things were getting done. Wonderful Experience! Nekole and Homestead Improvements worked with our insurance company to repair and replace all the drywall, flooring, plumbing and a new vanity from our home flooding disaster. She also assisted other contractors who were on-site to do kitchen cabinet and appliance installation. The workmanship is top notch and she's super easy to work with.
